The gateway connects your website to the merchant account. It also provides a Virtual Terminal for manual order entry. Merchant accounts do NOT work without a gateway. Gateway providers include Verisign, Authorize.net, and Plugnpay.com. We are Registered Resellers for Authorize.net and Plugnpay.com. Unless otherwise requested, your account will be setup with linkpoint.

Absolutely! In fact, we will set up your e-Check service FREE when your merchant acct is setup.

Low long will it take to get my account up and running?

Your account can be up in as little as ONE day. This is based on your application being complete.

No. The gateway provides both website orders AND a Virtual Terminal for manual order entry.

Once approved, we will email you notification. You can select Linkpoint or Authorize.net. Authorize.net is less expensive and provides 100 FREE transactions every month.

Does the e-Commerce Merchant account work with Yahoo! Stores?
A:
Yes. Your Paybyweb merchant account is one of only a few that integrates with Yahoo! Stores, which requires use of First Data Merchant Services.
By clicking on the APPLY NOW link above, you understand that you are applying for a merchant account with Paybyweb, in Association with First Data. If you don`t generate $25 per month in fees, First Data will charge you a $25 fee. More importantly, if you don`t generate $25 in fees a month...you most likely don`t need a merchant account! 1 Merchant must maintain account for at least 90 days. After 90 days, merchant may cancel with no fee. Prior to 90 days of activation, merchant cancellation subject to $99 cancel fee. 2May Special - Terms and Conditions: $200 Payout will be made by company check to first 100 approved merchants during the month of May, 2008. 3 Gateway fees listed are for Authorize.net. When your account is approved, we will email you the option of choosing Authorize.net with the fees listed above, or selecting Linkpoint, which automatically comes with your merchant acct. Linkpoint's fees are $20/mo and .20 per transaction. Both gateways provide the same services. If you wish to use Authorize.net, don't activate the Linkpoint gateway. Don't worry, we will email you the instructions to make sure you make the appropriate choice. With Authorize.net, the first 100 transactions are free EVERY MONTH, and only .20 each thereafter.
