Check By Phone
How it works

Paybyweb's Check By Phone service is simple to use.  Here's how it works:

1.  You collect your customers check information, including their next check number,
     routing and account number.

2.  Login to our virtual terminal and manually enter the check transaction, or email us a 
    file of all of your transactions.   

TEST DRIVE:  Try our check by phone virtual terminal to see just how easy it is to enter in a check.  This is a test account, no checks will be printed.

3.  We print the checks made payable to your business, batch them together, and ship 
    them to you for deposit in your bank.  You select how you want your checks shipped. 

OPTIONAL SERVICES

• Verification Plus - We contact the financial institution for each check submitted and verify valid account & funds availability.  We provide a detailed report each day delivered via email.
• Notification Plus - We print and mail a confirmation postcard for each check we print.  This postcard provides a reminder to your customer that a check will be presented against their account, and complies with Federal Law governing the use of check drafts.
• Batch Preparation - We endorse the back of each check, prepare a deposit ticket, and send your checks either to you, or directly to your financial institution.  You just supply us with a book of deposit tickets and a stamp. 

HOW YOU PAY FOR THE SERVICE

Check By Phone merchants deposit funds in a pre-pay account.  An invoice is emailed for services rendered each week.  Funds on deposit are deducted to cover the amount of the invoice.  When the account balance drops below $50, merchants add funds to their account.
