READ BEFORE YOU APPLY!

We don't want to waste your time!

If you fall into any of the categories below, do NOT apply for a merchant acct with us:

  • TMF
If you are on the Terminated Merchant File (TMF, or Match File)...do NOT apply for the Internet/eCommerce/Phone Sales merchant account.  TMF merchants applying for this account are wasting their time!  It will NOT be approved.  In the rare occasion where the underwriting department approves the application, the Security department will close it within 1 day and all funds will be held!  DON'T DO IT!!!   We may be able to assist you with our HIGH RISK application found here.
  • Adult Content (video, pictures, phone, etc.)
  • Lottery
  • Get Rich Quick
  • Travel that includes Airline tickets
  • A website that is not complete.  Must have full contact information, refund policy, products listed, and be in ENGLISH.
  • Collection Agencies
  • Anything to do with Credit or Debt
  • Business OR Owner Located outside the United States
  • Active Bankruptcy
  • using Meta Bank, Colonial Bank, or any other "online bank" that does not participate in ACH deposits.
  • Providing a phone number that is never answered and just goes to Voice Mail.  If your phone is not answered during regular business hours, or at least have a voice mail that identifies the number as a business, your acct will likely get declined.  Example, a restaurant's phone number should not be answered with an automated attendant saying..."you have reached 727..."

Special note to the BAD GUYS... those attempting to defraud us and/or the Bank:

While most business people are legitimate, there are those who's only purpose of getting a merchant account is to commit fraud.  SAVE YOUR BREATH.  Our applications require that certain questions must be answered before you can submit the application.  Those questions are based on the information provided in the application.  For example, you may be asked to pick which one of four addresses you did NOT live at, or which street is not near your home.  If these are answered incorrectly, the application will not be approved.  Attempting to commit fraud against a financial instituation is a Federal Offense.   We report ALL instances to the FBI, Tampa Florida Field Office.

 Don't waste your time...or ours.

Commonly Asked Questions
Q: Can I use Meta Bank with my merchant acct?
A: No. Online banks such as Meta do not participate in ACH deposits and are therefore excluded. This is the case with virtually ALL merchant providers. Open up a checking account at a regular bank.
Q: Can I get a merchant account with a Bankruptcy that has been discharged?
A: Yes. Once it has been discharged, you can qualify for a merchant account.
Q: Is my credit an issue with getting a merchant account?
A: Credit is an issue with ALL merchant account providers, however, it is not a deal breaker. We all know lots of people with credit issues, many of which could not be helped. Regardless of your credit issues, you should apply. You may be approved!
Q: Can I get a merchant account if I live outside the U.S.?
A: No. Business owners must reside within the United States.
Q: I'm a scammer and really want to rip people off...should I apply with you?
A: Um...sure. Great Idea.
